Tonight’s workout. Nice, quick workout with the aim of keeping my heart rate up throughout the whole thing. Overall it was pretty great and I’m glad I got off my butt and did something as I wasn’t planning to.

Tonight’s workout. Nice, quick workout with the aim of keeping my heart rate up throughout the whole thing. Overall it was pretty great and I’m glad I got off my butt and did something as I wasn’t planning to.

Back from the gym! I started with 10 minutes on the stationary bike to warm up and followed it up with some stretches and ab work. After that, I hit the weights for a while and did both upper and lower bodies. Finally, I hit the treadmill for a short burst of half a mile worth of sprints. Overall it was a great workout. Those sprints had me breathing hard. Anyway, I took a couple of pictures but it was too dark for my phone to get anything good and I didn’t bring my good camera. Maybe next time!

Just finished watching Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition and now I’m off for a 12:40am gym session! I’ve got 5 days left before I leave!

Also, I thought I’d share this. Most people have seen it but this is the extended version with actual story and talking in it. Pretty awesome. I watched it before my run for some extra motivation :D

The only thing that really sucks about running in my area is that the elevation change sucks. As you can see, most of my run is uphill :[ and in this heat and humidity. Anyway, I ran the whole thing which I’m proud of since I haven’t ran in a while. Dripping in sweat and muscles are aching but that’s a good thing right?
Oh and I forgot my heart rate monitor :/

My time off did me none too well. My arms are already hurting and my legs will no doubt be dead tomorrow. But yeah, half an hour today gets me back into it and I already feel better! Here are the stats.

Back from the workout. Did some tough hills and then went on a short jog before it got cold and started pouring. When I got home, I did a short weight lifting session..basically some bench press and then some bicep and tricep work. I’m happy with it overall and now I’m trying out the chocolate protein shake!

Back from today’s exercise. It’s really wet and gloomy outside so I put on some cleats and played football and soccer. It ended up being like doing a kind of interval training since there was a lot of slow jogging mixed in with quick sprints. I definitely felt faster and others have been saying I’m really fast now so yay for progress. Sorry for no stats today. Didn’t wear my MotoActv.

So I did .5 a mile on the treadmill to warm up which I didn’t track and then I did some ab work and finally hit the weights. Here is the 30 minutes of weight lifting followed by a quick .5 mile burst session on the elliptical.
